Smart boutique hotel. Worth all its 4 stars. Seamless check in. We were early and left our bags at reception. We were welcomed to sit in the court and supplied with lots of coffee. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Our room was on the ground floor and had all the amenities described. We asked for an iron and board. Lovely spa toiletries. Breakfast was good, not extensive but plenty enough of good fresh food. Alexandra was there to keep us well looked after. The spa is worth using. Two jacuzzi baths, dry and steam saunas, power shower and relaxation areas. This was inclusive in our room rate and has to be booked ahead. You get sole use for 50 minutes. Location is ideal for walking into town, about 20 minutes walk and near to most of the main tourist hotspots. San Marco monastery is quite near, by the bus station. It's well worth a visit. A quiet haven to walk round the cloisters and see the frescoes and monks cells individually decorated. The hotel has aids for anyone with restricted mobility or disability issues. Lifts on stairs, walk in shower with seat and hand rails. It has a lovely courtyard surrounded with trees and plants, it's well tended to and a delight to sit in or eat breakfast.

I liked the hotel a lot. We chose it because of its proximity to my business meeting point and because it has facilities for disabled persons. The hotel is wheelchair accessible from the garden and the bathroom is also disabled friendly. The breakfast was very good and we had the best home-made cakes in Florence. We particularly loved the common living room and having breakfast in the garden when the weather permitted and Alexandra was wonderful. We also should thank the reception staff, particularly Andrea. Our room was not very large but it was on the ground floor and quiet. There is no room service in the hotel but there is a coffee/tea maker and guests can order in-room breakfast and beverages.

Location is about 20 minute walk from the centre, but in retrospect, it was better for us as we had a car and they had parking at the hotel. You cannot drive into the centre as its a ZTL zone and you need a permit. Breakfast was great, continental and warm food if you want it. Rooms are lovely and clean, comfy beds and good air conditioning. the bathroom was lovely, clean and had a large shower. there are very good quality products available for you to use., (Aqua Di Parma). Staff are very helpful and welcoming. The Spa was fabulous too, perfect to relax after a hectic day sightseeing. I would return here if I came back to Firenze. :)

A delightful property with excellent facilities including a spa and gym, a very comfortable lounge and a courtyard. Although the location is not right in the centre of Florence, it is not an arduous walk to the major attractions and there are some good restaurants and cafes and an ATM near the hotel. Florence’s main railway station, Santa Maria Novella, is also within fairly easy reach on foot. The hotel provides a good breakfast and the staff are very professional, courteous and helpful. We spent four nights at the Palazzo Lorenzo Boutique Hotel & Spa and were extremely pleased with our choice.

We opted to take taxi to see most places as we were very short on time. Otherwise, the tram is at the end of the road, air conditioned and take you within a decent proximity of the main attractions. The staff were absolutely brilliant, Veronica at reception in particular went above and beyond to help us arrange transport and a lovely surprise for my wife on arrival. The spa was lovely, clean and very tranquil. You have to book your time in (1 hour per day) either the previous day or try on the day itself, but we never had an issue with this and you get to enjoy the spa to yourselves privately.
